This site is dedicated to all the service members who have served, or are currently serving, in our nation's armed forces. Please check out several sections on World War Two: including service accounts for T/Sgt William P. "Sonny" Mitchell, who flew on B-17s in World War Two in the European Theater. Sonny lost his life on 29 May, 1944 over Leipzig, Germany.

The service account for T/5 Joseph W. Campbell, who served in the 79th Division, 314th Infantry Regiment is also included. Campbell wrote the touching tribute to his friend Sonny found on this site.

A overall unit profile of the 314th Infantry Regiment is included, as well. It chronicles the unit's route in the ETO from its inception until its disbandment after the war ended.

A collection of Purple Hearts is chronicled within the site, as well. It shows the stories behind the brave men who were awarded the medal, and details the sacrifices they made, sometimes paying the ultimate price, for our country's freedom.
