Picture Is Worth A 1000 Words
Someone
once said that “a picture is worth a 1000 words.” There
is no denying it’s true, but what about the photograph of
Mt. St. Helen’s eruption? It was only worth a single word
– “Wow.” Or the Mona Lisa – the words that
tell that story are well into the billions and still counting. In
essence, a picture tells a story but what that story is may vary
with each person telling the story. One of the exciting factors
in creative writing is to figure it out, find the words and tell
the story to a successful and pleasing conclusion.
We are foremost photographers but we are always learning and eager
to move in other directions. This section is one of the ways we
have chosen to move and hopefully grow in our creative skills.
